Rockdweller’s Blog has been nominated for the Blog of the Year 2012 Award by “R”HubBlog.
Thank you Ronnie!
Here are the rules for this award:
1. Select the blog or blogs you think deserve the “Blog Of The Year” award.
2. Write a blog post and tell us about the blog or blogs you have chosen. There’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required and ‘present’ them with their award.
3. Please include a link back to this page Blog of the Year 2012 Award and include these rules in your post. Please don’t alter the rules or the badges.
4. Let the blog/blogs you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share rules with them.
5. You can now also join our Facebook group – Click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012′ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience .
6. As a winner of the award, please add link back to the blog that presented you with the award, and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar and start collecting stars.
There are stars to collect. Unlike other awards which you can only add to your blog once – this award is different. When you begin you will receive the 1 star award, and every time you are given the award by another blog, you can add another star.
There are total of 6 stars to collect.
Which means that you can check out your favourite blogs, and even if they have already been given the award by someone else, then you can still bestow it on them again and help them to reach the maximum 6 stars!

In keeping with the primary identity of this blog which is about recovery, I am nominating five exceptional individuals, not just for the quality of their blogs, but the progress they have each made in their life, and the inspiration they have given to others. Note that the blogs listed below, number 1 to 4, are recovering alcoholics, though number 5 (although in recovery) does not live with alcoholism – but TBI. So here goes, in alphabetical order:

congratulations on your award – and thank you for sharing the award with other deserving blogs too
Thank you, Ferra!
Congratulations on your award!! Definitely, your blog should win Blog of the Year 2012 in my book. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness in sharing this award with other blogs (like mine).
The timing could not have been better….I was struggling a LOT yesterday with the 10th anniversary of being fired. The circumstances surrounding it are still just as difficult to process and I began wondering how I could change a difficult day into one of ‘planting kindnesses’. I started to envision creative ways to get through this rough patch.
And then, this morning, I find this delightful post! WoW! That’s definitely a God moment. Thank you. :)
It makes me so sad to read about your struggle and it makes me feel powerless and angry when thinking about the terrible things people do to other people.
But, how incredibly happy I am that I could be of little help. Sending you strength, lots of love and big warm hugs!
Thank you so much, it is disheartening, to say the least when it comes to what us humans can do to one another.
We survive, don’t we? Through the worst of times, those unthinkable things we swore we’d never get through, somehow, small step, by small step we go.
There is healing in the sharing of our stories and telling our truths, this I know for sure. Thank you for the strength, love and big warm hugs, you are so very dear and kind. :) May the good you send out return to you a hundredfold. :)
Indeed, we are survivors! :)
RH, my heart ache when I read your comment, there is pain – but I clearly see your strenght. You are a fantastic, inspiring and a so very unique person.
Take care and do enjoy a marvelous weekend! *hugs*
Bless your heart, yes, we be survivors!!
Thank you! I glean a lot of strength from bloggers like you who are doing transforming work in your own life. That inspires me to NO END! :) 0000000000000000000000000000000000000.233333333333333541862222222227–6666666666
Richard’s cat just typed the above number sequence. She surprised me by trying to fit in the tiny little cabinet here in my desk. Hilarious! I thought she was going to get stuck. :)
I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well, I am doing better today, thank you so much!
You are so sweet!!!! Thanks you so much for nominating me. And congratulations on your award!

Thanks very much!! It’s so lovely of you, and nice to hear from you it’s been a while since it’s been in touch hasn’t it. I’ve been enjoying your gratitude postings. All the best to you dear Riversurfer.. xxxx
Thank you, take care mrs D *hugs*
You are such an awesome blogger – one of my favorites. So genuine, so talented, so honest. Like a breath of fresh air. My hope is that now that the 30 days of gratitude is over, you will still let us hear from you via Rockdwellers blog. Otherwise, please say where your next blog will be, so I can find you. You are a delight and I feel so fortunate to have discovered your blog. I love your photo walks – makes me want to visit Sweden!
You brought tears to my eyes! Thank you for this so very kind and beautiful comment, it truly warmed my heart!
My blogging here in Rockdweller’s blog ends by the end of next week. I am allowing my newfound interest to take its place, and so have created a new blog. It will be, not about alcoholism, but about creativity, drawing, Zentangle and so on. I shall share the link in my last post.
Take care, SoberA, I hope you enjoy a brilliant weekend! Big HUGS :)
congrats on your award – totally deserved. I’m off to check a couple of your nominees that I haven’t read yet.
Thank you so much Louise! Have a great weekend *hugs*

Namaste,
Sherry
